Nominations for Directors UK Board Elections 2024

As a member of Directors UK, you can put your name forward to stand as a candidate in the forthcoming Directors UK elections.

There are four different positions that you can stand for:

  • General board seat
  • Associate member representative
  • Successor member representative
  • Nations and Regions representative

Who can stand?

Full or Distribution-Only members can stand for one of the general board seats.

Only Associate members can stand for Associate member representative.

Only Successor members can stand for Successor member representative.

Only members who live or regularly work in the nations and regions outside of London and the South East may stand for the Nations and Regions representative position.

You may stand for more than one position, providing you meet the eligibility criteria (i.e. you could choose to stand for both a general board seat and as Nations and Regions representative).

Anyone wishing to stand for election must name two fellow members who would be willing to propose and second your candidacy.

What happens next?

You must submit your nomination to stand for election by midday on Friday 31 May.

Voting will open on Tuesday 11 June and close at 10.30am on Wednesday 10 July.

All members will be contacted when voting opens with details of the candidates and information on how to vote.

The result of the election will be announced at the Directors UK AGM on Thursday 11 July.

Your personal data will be stored and processed by Directors UK in accordance with the Data Protection Act 2018.
