The institution is now seeking nominations from corporate members (MCInstCES and FCInstCES) to join its council of management. No previous experience of any committees or panels is necessary.
Council is composed of the president, immediate past president, two vice presidents and 14 elected members. You can find out more about the role and the benefits of joining Council of Management here.
The institution is conscious to reflect the diversity of the industry and encourages nominations from all those who are keen to help shape its future. New council members, all of whom are directors and trustees of ICES, will receive a trustees’ handbook outlining the role and responsibilities of a council member and literature issued by the Charity Commission will be distributed. Expenses incurred in council activities are reimbursed. The three year term of office commences following this year’s AGM on 28 September 2019 at the York Marriott Hotel, York Racecourse, Tadcaster Road, Dringhouses, York YO24 1QQ. Nominations must be submitted by midday on Monday 08 July 2019 and your Proposer and Seconder must confirm their support of your nomination by 17:00 on Wednesday 10 July 2019.
